About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Administration and Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its team. Extensive experience in managing financial operations of large, complex organizations, particularly in the public sector or not-for-profit sector, is essential. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a strong background in public finance policies and procedures. The role requires a leader who can inspire a culture of innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and calculated risk tolerance, and who is adept at fostering a campus culture of shared governance, communication, and respect. The CFO will also be involved in the capital planning process, leading the evaluation of the institution's risk management framework, and overseeing the enhancement of procurement processes. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and experience in higher education finance are preferred qualifications.
