Job Description As a Security Professional - Maritime Patrol in Baltimore, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with individuals on-site, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This role does not require driving or carrying a weapon. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 03:30 PM - 01:30 AM Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or security-related incidents. Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or activity. Document and communicate any security-related incidents or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Support emergency response activities according to established protocols for the location. Minimum Requirements: Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card. Must be at least 21 years of age. Completion of Maritime Security Training (MTSA MARSEC) is required and may be completed post hire. Customer service experience is preferred. Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
