Contract Registered Nurse - Part Time School Nurse

• Type: W2 Employment
• Location: Elementary school
• Schedule: Part-time
• Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
• Payment: Weekly direct deposit
• Certifications: Vision & Hearing certification or Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification required

Requirements:

• Active RN license in California
• Vision & Hearing Certification or Certified School Nurse (CSN) license
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatrics preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care, including first aid and emergency response, to students and staff
• Administer medications and monitor students health conditions
• Support students with chronic health needs and develop care plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with state and school health regulations
• Collaborate with educators and families to promote students health and learning
