RESRG Automotive is looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our team in Evansville, IN ! In this role, you will provide the technical knowledge and expertise needed to maintain a safe and productive workplace.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with the Operations team to develop solutions, methods, and processes to reduce the overall risk profile of the facility
  • Drive the follow-up and closure of EH&S action plans from activities such as audits and regional priorities
  • Prepare various EH&S reports, including collection and review of metrics on a monthly or as-needed basis
  • Conduct and review safety audits, hazard assessments and hazardous waste inspections
  • Guide and participate in company safety team meetings, activities, and inspections
  • Act as a liaison to all team members to help with employee safety issues or concerns
  • Assist with managing site risks including facilitating risk assessments, job safety analyses, and PPE assessments
  • Help in developing employee environmental, health and safety training programs
  • Aid incident investigations, root cause analysis, and determining corrective actions to prevent incident recurrence

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Health and safety experience working in a manufacturing environment OR a bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, engineering or related field

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience leading and developing safety initiatives and programs
