Job Description

Immediate need for a talented Product Owner. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Charlotte, NC,/ Iselin, NJ & Atlanta-GA (Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $70 - $73/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product managers, technology teams, and relevant stakeholders to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog
  • Write detailed product feature specifications (features and/or stories) and ensure they’re clearly understood by product managers, technology teams, and QA teams
  • Participate in story refinement with delivery team and track down answers to any open questions
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure release timelines are met, and proactively work through any challenges and potential delays
  • Conduct extensive User Acceptance Testing to ensure business requirements are met
  • Provide signoff on code releases
  • Conduct Production Checkout testing, ensuring final delivered product meets business requirements and creates a delightful user experience
  • Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals
  • Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key skills; Product development ,agile methodology for project management , Advanced knowledge of JIRA
  • 5-8 years of experience in product development
  • Advanced knowledge of JIRA
  • In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management
  • Understanding of business value related to features and functions
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and challenges
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders
  • High accountability to ensure the product is delivered flawlessly
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in related discipline
  • Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology
