Job Description
Serves as hosts to guests visiting the pool ensuring to their comfort and safety.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Enhances the guest experience by providing exceptional service.
Ensures that incoming phone calls are answered according to standard. Disseminates pertinent information to guests.
Receive Towels from loading Dock. Pick up all dirty towels left by guest. Stock towels at Platinum tower.
Greets and interacts with guests. Issues pool towels. Ensures that an ample number of pool towels are available at all times.
Set up and Break down of Cabanas. Clean Cabanas; mop, trash, refrigerator.
Straighten the out of place LOUNGE Chairs and set the backs down.
Records the number of pool guests visiting per hour, recording data.
Escorts guests to lounge chairs pointing out various points of interest (i.e. restrooms, showers, cabanas, restaurants, etc.).
Enforces pool policies, rules and regulations on a consistent basis. Restricts pool to registered guests.
Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
Notifies Management to inclement weather or extenuating circumstances. Notifies management of any Biohazards and or Security issues.
Skim Pool & Monitors deck cleanliness throughout shift; pick-up trash/debris as necessary
Receives cash bank from cage. Follows cash handling procedures.
Promotes safety awareness to minimize injuries.
Resolves guest issues.
Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.
Performs any other necessary duties instructed by manager.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required: High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work with exposure to outside weather conditions including heat, humidity, sun, wind and rain.
High energy level.
Excellent non-verbal communication skills - good posture, able to establish eye contact, and positive body language.
Must project a professional and positive image.
Ability to handle and carry out instructions.
Must be able to maintain composure under stress in a fast pace work environment.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.
Basic reading skills.
Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations.
Training All employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter. Training marked with an asterisk below must be completed prior to reporting to their respective work area. The below courses are required for this position:
