Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys managing cases from pre-litigation through trial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive litigation support for personal injury cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and trial exhibits.
• Manage discovery, including document review, ESI collection, and preparation of privilege logs.
• Prepare detailed case summaries, medical chronologies, and damage assessments.
• Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing witness and exhibit lists, deposition page-line designations, and trial binders.
• Support attorneys during trial, including jury selection logistics, witness preparation, and real-time case management.
• Draft and compile mediation materials, such as PowerPoint presentations, timelines, and expert reports.
• Negotiate and resolve liens, including Medicare and Medicaid claims, post-settlement.
• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel to ensure case progression.
• Train and mentor junior paralegals and legal assistants as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in personal injury law.
• Education: Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong litigation and trial preparation experience.
• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and case management.
• Experience with case management software (e.g., Abacus, TrialWorks, Clio, Neos).
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
