Our client, a leading juice manufacturer is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team. As an Operations Manager, you will be part of the operation department. The ideal candidate will have leadership and team Management, strong communication and critical thinking skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Westfield, NY

Pay Range: $75 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Lead the team through an emphasis on both process and people
• Coach teams on the principles of effective production, processing, and packaging processes
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between Operations departments and Engineering, maintenance, and quality to improve machine uptime and food safety/quality
• Ensure that behaviors, practices, and the work environment support a safe workplace by enforcing safety rules, principles, and absolutes
• Oversee the development and implementation of solid troubleshooting procedures to find root cause and correct product deviations

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical Field. An equivalent combination of education and experience that proves ability to perform role may be considered
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role with increasing responsibility in food/beverage or CPG manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with Continuous Improvement/Lean methods and tools (Total Production Maintenance, Centerlines, CIL's, Defect Handling, 5S, Quick Changeover)
• Expertise in overseeing manufacturing operations, including production planning, production scheduling, line setup and change out, production control, and production optimization.
• Experience in an FDA regulated environment where quality, compliance, and safety are core values.
