Job Description
BluWave is looking for a Design Intern who will join the growing marketing team, reporting directly to the Senior Director & Head of Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the entire marketing function at BluWave – working under the guidance of our Manager of Brand Design.
This will be an amazing opportunity for a designer who is looking to gain B2B experience.
Your Key Responsibilities
Create design assets (80% of focus)
Leverage brand templates and create visually compelling and elegant assets to be used across various channels – including marketing emails, ads, presentation decks, website, webinars and more
Support multi-media asset creation (10% of focus)
Support the creation of multi-media assets – including video and podcast
Project management (10% of focus)
Manage projects from start to finish, with regular check ins with stakeholders
Your Key Characteristics
You have a strong interest in designing eye-catching assets across multiple mediums
You are extremely detail oriented and take pride in the little things
You know how to manage a project from start to finish, both individually and collaborating with a broad and diverse team
You are able to effectively communicate both orally and written
Your Qualifications
Attaining 4-year undergraduate degree
1-3 years of experience in working with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
You are interested in a design-focused role
You have an understanding of key design principles and are hungry to sharpen your skills
You have a portfolio that you are proud of and ready to present
