New York Shuk is looking for a Full-Time Logistics & Operations Associate to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

Order & Inventory Management

• Oversee wholesale, foodservice, and distributor orders from entry to delivery, troubleshooting as needed.
• Assist in coordinating & scheduling shipments with freight carriers to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Assist in creating and maintaining documentation required for order fulfillment and shipments (BOLs, Packing lists, etc.)
• Track inventory across multiple warehouses, including reporting and transfers.
• Reach out to 3PLs, logistics partners, and co-packers as needed.

Customer Service

• Provide exceptional customer service, managing inquiries, replacements, and claims.
• Maintain accurate records in Asana, 3PL, and damage tracking systems.
• Send out samples from the office as needed for sales, media, and customer requests.

Accounting Support

• Process invoices, Faire payouts, and wholesale billing.
• Track and reconcile invoices as needed on a weekly basis
• Weekly communication with the book keeper.

Process Improvement & Special Projects

• Optimize systems and workflows for better efficiency.
• Maintain key reports on logistics, fulfillment costs, and damages.
• Lead ad hoc projects, including evaluating new freight/3PL partners.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 1+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or a related field, preferably in a CPG startup setting.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google Sheets is REQUIRED. Knowledge of QuickBooks, CIN7, and Squarespace is a plus.
• Experience working with KeHE & UNFI is a huge plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Data-driven and analytical, with a knack for interpreting performance metrics and using insights to optimize processes.
• Understanding freight terminology

THE DETAILS

-Immediate start date.

- Work from our Brooklyn, NY office (not a remote position)

- Salaried, full-time position.

- Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 Dependent on Experience.
