Job Title: Interior Designer Job Description The Designer is responsible for delivering comprehensive design services to project managers, teammates, and clients within a collaborative team environment. Key duties include conducting programming, space planning, producing REVIT drawings, creating renderings, coordinating with building systems, and selecting and coordinating finish materials and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment). The Designer also contributes to the development and nurturing of client relationships through innovative design concepts. Working as part of the Design Team, the Designer engages with various business units and departments to ensure the successful completion of projects and provides an exceptional client experience.
Once rolling on projects, you will attend project huddles, coordinate with clients, the architecture team, and the MEP team to solve design issues. You will assist with the entire process, including redlining, internal SD, CD, and then handing off to JR staff. You will be involved with the entire design stretch, including internal design meetings with the Director of Design who reviews any designs before they go out to the client.
You will also help manage schedules and deadlines for the design team and be expected to contribute to designing overall by sketching out ideas via elevation or 3D pulling patterns, etc.
Hard Skills - 7-10 years of Interior Design Experience
- Proficient in Revit
- Experience & Proficient with Client Presentation
- Creative Thinker - Original Design Ideas
- Understands Proportion and Scale
- NCIDQ preferred (but working towards is ok)
- Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator preferred
- Familiarity with Lumion and/or Enscape is preferred
- Experience in Furniture Specification and Procurement (FF&E)

Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).
Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Work Environment You will report to the Director of Design and work closely with the Interior Design Manager. You will oversee 3 entry-level designers (0-2 years of experience). This position requires 100% in-office work in Kennesaw every day. Typical work hours are from 8/8:30 am to 5/5:30 pm, and you can expect to work 45-50 hours per week.
