The
Housekeeping and Laundry Aide will perform laundry and housekeeping functions at Deployed Services.
Essential Functions: - Maintain cleanliness of the facility to include, but not limited to:
- Dust and mop facility, Including floor, walls, and lights
- Vacuum all carpeted areas
- Wipe and sanitize all surfaces
- Empty trash and replace liners. Transport to dumpsters or outbound transfer areas, as needed
- Clean and disinfect areas throughout the facility to include, but not limited to:
- toilets, sinks, door handles, glass doors, walls, flooring, and other areas, as needed
- Launder and fold
- Maintain cleaning logs
- Collect and tag textiles
- Help maintain an accurate inventory of all linens
- Report on supply shortages to Manager
- Seek cost savings in daily operations
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills: - Proven proficiency in housekeeping operations
- Must be able to read, speak, and write English
- Ability to troubleshoot systems and identify and correct problems
- Great organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365. Inside and outside, all weather conditions
Education and Experience: - High School diploma (or equivalent), preferred
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, up and down stairs, and/or service ramps and lift up to 55lbs
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must pass a motor vehicle record check, as well as an employer and government background check (e-QIP or eAPP), after accepting a conditional offer of employment
