Position Overview

CereCore is seeking a Senior EHR Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of projects within the MEDITECH Expanse implementation project for our parent company, HCA. This role requires strong strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive project management to ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. The Senior EHR Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, aligning project goals with organizational needs and facilitating smooth transitions throughout each phase.

Responsibilities

  • Travel up to 25%
  • Hybrid in Nashville, TN
  • Lead MEDITECH Expanse implementation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
  • Assist in documentation of technical and functional requirements, providing system guidance to clients.
  • Conduct workflow and gap analysis, offering recommendations for process improvements.
  • Support system build activities and participate in testing events, ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Provide onsite and remote support for clients and team members.
  • Identify risks and issues, escalating them appropriately per project guidelines.
  • Maintain proper project tracking, status reporting, and adherence to issue and risk escalation processes.
  • Offer professional guidance on optimal workflows and system functions based on industry best practices.
  • Contribute to post-project review and documentation updates.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of Healthcare/EHR Project Management experience required.
  • Hands-on experience with full EHR lifecycle consulting, including implementation of pharmacy, oncology, surgery, and ancillary systems.
  • Proven ability to define project requirements and collaborate effectively within project teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and accountable approach.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor with a customer service focus.

Education:

  • · Bachelor’s degree required. Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.) are preferred.
