About the Position: The Fintech Partnership Intern will provide additional support to our Financial Technology (Fintech) Strategy and Solutions team through the completion of a variety of tasks and projects that complement their academic training. The Fintech Partnership Intern will interact with employees across the bank to gain practical experience and have an opportunity to perform a number of functions in a training capacity utilizing technical, organizational, and administrative skills. Assignments will be given where judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. In addition, gathering and organizing data for use in supporting decision-making processes will be essential.
What You Will Do: - Collaborate with team members across the bank on a variety of initiatives
- Research new technologies in banking and financial services
- Work with founders and C-level executives of startups to assess partnership opportunities
- Create and deliver presentations
What We're Looking For: - Current Sophomore or Junior pursuing a degree at the intersection of finance and technology
- Interest in engaging with early to mid-stage startups to help deliver products to the market
- Previous course knowledge in Business or Sales
- Professional demeanor and communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and pivot between initiatives seamlessly
Working Conditions/Demands: - Professional office setting.
- Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
- Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to position self to maintain computers or other IT equipment, including under the desks and in the server closet
- Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
- Other common parameters entail climbing stairs, walking, reaching, squatting, crawling, or kneeling
