Job Description

A legal services organization in Washington, D.C. is looking to add a new Direct Marketing Associate to their growing staff.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: 6+ months
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Setting: Hybrid role (2 days in office; 3 days work from home)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conceptualizing the public-facing direct marketing materials from start to finish, including digital fundraising, direct mail, SMS communications, online advertising, and workplace giving campaigns
• Ensure these materials are free of errors and align with messaging, often taking a first pass at proofing and copyediting
• Work within the CRM to pull data, build landing pages, and monitor performance
• Track and monitor the development of direct marketing calendars
• Actively track the trajectory of our overall communications strategy to be sure our messaging is delivered on schedule and aligns with the organization
• Assist processing tracking payments to vendors and consultants
• Assist within the development department as needed when direct marketing and other initiatives overlap

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Marketing experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Computer savvy
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
