Position Summary

This role is responsible to support the IT applications for the Radiology and Cardiology service lines across the IDN at Health First.

The position supports the hardware and software needs for the Imaging Applications.

This role will support the department workflows as they relate to the integrated application needs of the business.

Primary Accountabilities

Serves as a resource to the Radiology Managers, Associates and Physicians for issues related to Information Technology.

Accurately and promptly analyze requests submitted by Radiology and Cardiology departments.

Performs daily system cleanup and management to support the day to day operability of imaging applications.

Provides knowledgeable technical support of Imaging Application functionality as it relates to the department workflows and processes.

Serves as a liaison between Diagnostic Imaging departments and Information Technology.

Assist with implementing training programs for new Associates, including Technologist, Physicians, and supporting department staff.

Assist with creating and updating application documentation on an ongoing basis for responsible systems.

Provides proper maintenance of system equipment.

This includes maintaining PACS workstations and ensuring medical display are calibrated appropriately.

Provides assistance in coordination of testing, upgrades and management of clinical information systems as they relate to the practice of Radiology and Cardiology.

Provides 24/7 on call support as part of scheduled daily rotation.
