Job Description As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes and configurations for aerospace components
(landing gears and hydraulic actuation systems ). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards while optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Manufacturing Process Development: Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace components, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards. Development of manufacturing plans, sketches, work instructions and supporting engineering documentation.
Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality assurance team to implement and monitor quality control measures, identifying and resolving any manufacturing issues that may arise.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production teams, and project managers, to ensure seamless product development and manufacturing.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications - 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, and the ability analyze supplied engineering (B/P, P/L, Models...) and to generate manufacturing documentation.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
- Knowledge of aerospace industry regulations and standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP).
- Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools, preferably CATIA but not necessary
- This position requires exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
